Will there be entertainment?
Of course! There will be music by a local DJ, food trucks, face painting and airbrush tattoos, and educational activities promoting the awareness of traumatic brain injuries.
When can I pick up my race packet?
Packet pick up and same day registration will take place at the Gazebo from 9:00-9:50 a.m.
Where should I park?
There is ample free parking available around Civic Square. A free underground garage is also a few short blocks away at Civic Center (on the corner of Rangeline Road and 126th Street).
Will there be a gear check?
No, there will be no gear check available for the 5K.
Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes. In order for someone to pick up your packet, they must present one of the following:
Your confirmation email
A signed note from you stating you are allowing them to pick up your packet OR
A copy of your driver's license

Can my child run with me?
Kids ages 3 and under are free to participate and are encouraged to run (or ride along in strollers) with their parents. Children ages 4-12 must pay the $15 registration fee. Online registrants will be prompted to enter the number of family members who will be racing.
Can I bring my dog with me?
For the safety of all dogs and participants, we ask that you please leave your dog at home.
How do I find out how I did?
Results are usually posted as they are available. They will list all finishers, and their time and their rank. It will generally also list how they ranked in their gender and age group.
What if it rains?
Extreme weather could cancel the race. There are also other emergency situations (such as power outages, city-wide alerts) that could affect the start/cancellation of the race. In case of delay or cancellation, all registrants will be immediately notified on the Brain Bolt website or through social media (Facebook and Twitter). Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to receive the latest updates.
Unfortunately, if same day extreme weather or other emergency events cause a delay or cancellation we will not be able to refund registration fees.
